To Love God is to Serve God

The Usher Guild of  St. Thomas Episcopal Church is dedicated to serving God, the church, friends and family during weekly service, funerals, weddings and other special events.  The ministry of he Usher Guild greets arriving members and guests, distributes service leaflets, and assists parishioners and guests in finding seating.  The ushers also give directions during the offering, Eucharist and recessional.  Following the service, ushers  clean and straighten the pews and replace prayer books and hymnals.  The face of the Usher is the first face parishioners see upon entering the church, therefore creating a positive hospitable spirit.
